Dan Woren

 

Best known to the anime community for his portrayal of tragic-hero Roy Fokker in the Robotech series, Dan has been working in “Voice-Over Land” for well over two decades. Over the last few years, he has branched out into recording Audio Books, and has narrated over 40 titles to date.

Some of his voice credits include: Jagi, in Fist of the North Star, Rene D’anclaude, in Armitage III, Cobra, in Space Adventure Cobra, Pops, in Speed Racer X, Hauser Blackwell, in Wild Arms, Yang Neuman, in Macross Plus, Zorthy Kanai, in Gurren Lagann, Gwendal, in Kyo Kara Maoh, Igor, in Persona III, Hans Schuvald, in Monster, and currently as Byakuya Kuchiki, in Bleach.

On camera, Mr. Woren has been shot/electrocuted by Patrick Stewart in “Star Trek, First Contact”, had his throat slit by Stella Stevens in “The Granny”, was hit in the face with a pie thrown by Johnny Carson and most recently, portrayed a 20th century homicidal magician in the short film “The Amazing Charleroux”.

This May marks Dan’s first appearance at the Florida Anime Experience.  He is looking forward to meeting the Florida’s anime fans and enjoying lots of “fresh-squeezed” springtime hospitality.
