To qualify as an artist, you must be either selling commissions, prints, or other such artwork at your table.  Cosplay accessories and wearable items, unless handcrafted by the artist present, are considered standard dealer wares and will not be allowed in the Artist Alley.

Please keep in mind that the intention of the Artist Alley is to help aspiring artists get their names out and is meant to be fun for everyone.

1. Only one panel per person/group…  We want to present a variety of perspectives to the fandom and (while we appreciate you hosting a panel) we want to make sure you have the time to enjoy the rest of the convention!
2. All panel hosts must be paid attendees of the convention…  We don’t offer comp passes for single panel presentations.  We don’t allow more than one panel per person/group.  You can see where we’re going with this.
3. Panel content must be theme specific…  Please refer to the “no Halo in our game room” mission statement.  We’re an anime convention about (gasp!) anime, manga, and Japanese popular culture.
4. All panel content must not exceed a PG-13 rating…  Florida Anime Experience is a family friendly convention.  While me may offer some 18+ events, they are tightly regulated and offered late in the evening.
5. Scheduling is subject to change based on the needs of Florida Anime Experience…  We will do our best to work with you on scheduling the panel in a time slot that works best for everyone involved.  If, for unforeseen reason, we need to change when you panel is scheduled, we will let you know in advance.

Darrel Guilbeau is the English voice Mikado Ryugamine in the popular series (airing on Adult Swim.)  Need more?  He’s the voice of Gainer Sanga in Overman King Gainer, Hikari in The Melody of Oblivion, and Sousuke Kawara in Samurai Champloo.  He has also done voice work on Paranoia Agent, Stellvia, Koi Kaze, DearS, Rumiko Takahashi Anthology, Boys Be…, Captain Harlock, Cyborg 009, Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG, Kamichu!, and Pretty Cure.

MOON CRYSTAL POWER MAKE UP! FLORIDA ANIME EXPERIENCE ANNOUNCES TERRI HAWKES, THE VOICE OF SAILOR MOON, AS THE GUEST OF HONOR FOR 2012!
Terri Hawkes (the voice of Sailor Moon for the English language dub of the series and all three movies) will be making her first ever fan convention appearance in the United States.

(Orlando, FL, October 5, 2011) Florida Anime Experience 2012 will take place at the International Palms Resort and Convention Center (in Orlando, Florida) May 25-27, 2012. The convention, now in its second year, will feature panels, events and shows themed around anime, manga and Japanese popular culture. The Guest of Honor for 2012 will be Terri Hawkes, known for providing the voice of what is regarded as the most recognizable female anime character of all time: Sailor Moon.

The series Sailor Moon first aired in the United States in 1995 and is widely considered as one of the foremost titles that helped propel anime fandom into American culture. Terri Hawkes provided the voice for the majority of the series and subsequently returned to voice the iconic character in three films: Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, and Sailor Moon SuperS.

Tickets go on sale Sunday, October 9, 2011 on the website: www.floridaanime.com. Weekend admission to the event is $35, but discount passes can be purchased in advance. One day passes will be available at the door for $25 (Saturday) and $20 (Friday or Sunday.)
