Paul Thomas Chapman is a writer and a film critic based in Tampa, FL.  He has written freelance for Otaku USA Magazine since the magazine’s inception in 2007. ( Paul writes anime features and reviews, but he also specializes in writing about live-action Japanese cinema in the magazine’s TokyoScope section. He also writes a regular column for the Otaku USA website entitled The Vault of Error, in which Paul reminisces about purchases both fabulous and faulty that he’s made during his decades-long fandom.

Paul is also the host of the Greatest Movie EVER! Podcast, a weekly podcast that reviews quirky and often-neglected films, especially works of science fiction, fantasy, martial arts, animation, and horror. ( To date, he’s reviewed over 330 films with a catalog that stretches backwards to 2006.
