We just want to say THANK YOU!!!
Wow… it’s been almost two weeks since we kicked off Florida Anime Experience 2012. We’re still unpacking and getting things sorted, but we’d like to share a couple of things:
1. The convention grew! We had more attendees in 2012 than in 2011. We’ll post official numbers once we sort out all the paperwork.
2. Our dates for next year are May 24-26, 2013.
3. THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made our show a success. We appreciate all the support for our “little convention that could.”
4. THANK YOU to our amazing, awesome, stupendous, all around fantastic guests: The AAA Podcast, Dan, Darrel, Jingoro, and Terri.
5. THANK YOU to the FAE 2012 Staff who made the whole show run:

We’re proud to be Florida’s anime convention about anime and we appreciate all the love you’ve shown us!

Totally epic convention. Even us “older” people had a great time. Looking forward to next year. My granddaughter is totally into Anime…She’s starting her second year at FAU and taking Japanese…Your conventions are a great birthday treat for her. May 28 is her birthday. I have a great pic of her and Steve Blum from last year…Awesome…THANK YOU..
No, thank YOU. You guys were awesome this year! Without selfless people like you, anime conventions would not exist.
This was definitely one of the best conventions I have ever attended. The entire Green Mustard/Wasabi Anime Organization is beyond compare. It is because of your group that we have the privilege to meet our Anime voice heroes. It’s great to be able to meet up with other Cosplayers like ourselves as well. Please keep doing what you’re doing and never stop. It was a fantastic time and I cannot wait until next year. FAE will definitely be a must do every year. For anyone that didn’t get a chance to go this year in 2012, don’t make the same mistake twice. Plan for 2013 now because I know it will be just as epic if not more.
Also, I wanted to say thank you to the people who stepped up and did Panels. There were so many to choose from that it was hard deciding which ones to see. I have to say the Sailor Moon puppet making was probably one of my favorites. Thanks for that unique opportunity. Also, Animeoploy was just too cool.
The Florida Anime Experience was the very first convention I’ve been able to attend, and I intend on going to each and every one of them from here on out. The staff was uh-may-zing! And meeting Dan was so freakin’ awesome [ I had so many jealous friends XD.]
But yes, bet your hats you’ll be seeing me EVERY year! You guys were THE BEST EVER!
I am still in the state of total awe at going to FAE since it was my very first convention. It was quite amazing that I met Terri Hawkes there as well.
