2011 Press

We want to spread the word about The Florida Anime Experience so it can grow into an amazing event.   With that in mind, we do give out a limited number of press passes each year so folks can cover our convention online, in print and through video.

Please read the following expectations and information before submitting your application for a press credentials.

1.  Press Credentials give the same access as a weekend pass.   They do NOT grant the wearer special privileges to convention guests or events. (We want reports of our convention to be from a “fan perspective!”)

2.  Arrangements to interview any of The Florida Anime Experience’s guests must be made directly with the guest/guest’s representation in advance and can not take place during scheduled appearances/panels/signings.

3. Print publications (such as newspapers and magazines) are asked to include a website featuring their media for reference.

4.  Television and Radio stations should call (407) 536-9272 to make arrangements with Green Mustard Entertainment in advance. (Do not submit a form in this case.)

5.  Blogs/Website only media outlets must meet the following criteria:

  • Your site must be online and active since before January 1st, 2010 with material on your site to support this.
  • Your site must have a domain of it’s own. (i.e. http://NAME.wordpress.com or http://NAME.blogspot.com are not acceptable.)
  • Your site must be ranked (according to Alexa.net) higher than Tom Croom’s blog: www.tomcroom.com(If more people are reading his crappy rantings about stuff than news and reviews on your website then odds are that you need to step up your game.)

6.  Podcasts (audio and video) must all meet the requirements of Blogs/Websites (#5) along with the following:

  • Your podcast must have at least twelve (12) complete episodes that have been posted before January 1, 2011.
  • Understand that The Florida Anime Experience will not provide you any technical equipment or access to the Internet for your podcast. You’re on your own.

7.  Approved media will be given two (2) Press Credentials only.  Any additional members of your media team will need topurchase admission to the show.

8.  Green Mustard Entertainment, Inc. reserves the right to refuse (and revoke) Press Credentials for any reason at any time.

9.  Submission of the form on this page does not guarantee Press Credentials.   All approved press will receive an email confirmation before the show.   If you have have not heard back within one week of the show, feel free to follow up withinfo@floridaanime.com.

10. If you submit a form with obvious grammar and spelling mistakes then it is very likely that your application will be denied. FYI.
